A note about the Jeannette Prandi Children's CenterCalifornia law requires multiple agencies to investigate allegations of child sexual molestation. Even though the young victim may be suffering from post-traumatic stress, shame, and fear, several agencies re-interview the child -- often adding to his/her trauma and weakening any hope of convicting the abuser. Our longtime dream to establish a child-friendly center where one member of a specially trained team conducts the forensic interview, while others observe behind a one-way mirror has come true.
We need your support. Though we are fortunate to receive funds from local jurisdictions and grants, we depend upon contributions from private citizens and business. Tax-deductible contributions are welcome. For more information, click here. On behalf of Marin's children...Thank you!
